My Pottery Room Needs a Makeover

I've managed to drag a bunch of stuff upstairs to paint pottery, because the basements so messy I can't stand to be down there. I have this terrible tendency to save stupid things like boxes. I like little ones, big ones, long ones, I don't care what the shape is. I wonder why I do this, where did I learn this behavior?? I keep thinking I'll start an online pottery store and that I'll need them. We'll see. I'm not showing you a picture of my boxes though, thats far uglier than my messy pottery room.

Hi Natalie,

I do hate working, but I like to spend money..sooo...guess I keep working. Anyway, I love your idea of an online pottery store, I think you will do well because your stuff is so adorable. BTW, where did you get your collection of stuff from??? Maybe from your momma???

Well, if you do a makeover, you HAVE to keep the blue chair. That is stylin'.

I have a problem with keeping boxes of every size too. It must be hereditary. Sometimes I think that I should give up my stash for more room or less clutter. It is the time I toss/give away, that always reminds me why I have them in the first place. What if I need one? I keep them in a flat tote under the couch now.

Organization has never really been your thing, lol. I'm guessing the room will always be a bit messy, even if you give it a makeover.

Start an ETSY store for now, its easy and then you can expand if it works out well.

I have a walk-in storage area under the roof as I have a Cape Cod house. It is FULL! Yes, I have a stash (a very large one) of boxes. They would never fit under the couch in a plastic storage container.

I have what I call my "store" in that area and my attic. Someone is sick, I have a card or product from Bath and Body Works. Need a birthday present or a thank you gift, I shop at my "store". Someone has a baby, I have gifts for boy, girl or neutral (for before the baby's birth). I must say that I supply my store with items bought on sale and I always have things on hand.
