More from Vegas
Here are a few more pictures of the strip and some of the cars at the show. It's pretty fun here, surprisingly even for people who do not drink, gamble or party. We spent all of yesterday in the desert. Just walking around the strip watching the lights and free shows are pretty fun. The buffets are the best. Rach, the one we went to yesterday made fresh crapes right in front of you, with all kinds of fillings, whip cream, chocolate and powdered sugar! I thought of you when she was making it, there were flames too. They have awesome desserts at the Luxor*, there was creme brule, chocolate mousse, cakes, ice cream and hot fudge, anything you can imagine! And they are served in tiny little dishes so you can try everything and not be wasteful.
We are either going to go see Bodies, which I bet you would like trigirl82, or we will do indoor skydiving today or tomorrow.

Blogger is such a pain!
Here, we don't look so good, but the sun and wind take a toll on beauty. We certainly tried to take a good picture though. Neither of us wanted to ask someone to take a picture of us, so we did it our selves, and as you can see, that was not such a good idea. But I had to prove we were here, together. There was an air show on today that we caught pictures of on the way into and out of the desert.

I begged Adam to just let me ask someone to take our picture; he suggested he take a picture of me, and then I take a picture of him....That was a stupid idea, so then he suggested he take a picture of me and get himself in the reflection of my sunglasses. Can you see how annoyed I was with his attempt to proceed without my consent? That was a pretty dumb idea too. However, he did accomplish getting us both in the same picture. Gotta give him a little credit for at least being creative.

This is the really nice car they rented to us at the rate of a Chrysler Sebring. I think we made out pretty good.
It says "changeyourclock.com" if you couldn't tell or were wondering.

Now that the sun has gone down, we are going to go get some food. I sure hope I can talk Adam into it. He is pretty beat from driving all day and he is in the middle of a movie on TV... Wish me luck, I'm going to need it. I'll eventually get dinner, it just might take awhile.
Vegas
So far, Vegas has been good to us. It's been sort of like Rachael and Lori's trip to Oklahoma this summer with tons of deals and freebies. First we got the nicest, biggest hotel, (but we had to attend a 2 hour presentation and tour). After 2 hours, we were like... it's been a long time, we just are not interested, good-bye. It stretched to about 2.5 hours in all. But we got a 1 bedroom condo with a washer and drier, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, giant bathtub, and all the things you love about home, only better because you are on vacation and you don't have to clean up after anyone and its still clean when you get back. This place would be a nightmare to clean for our maid if we actually had food to cook. Right now, I am brewing Starbucks* coffee and looking out our giant window at the strip while I blog as fast as I can because Adam takes a fast shower when he wants to get going. ( It's half decaf mom! Secondly, we rented a car, and it gave us problems, so we took it back, and they couldn't find anything to rent us, it was taking a long time to process the others, or something like that, not sure, so the lady looks at us and says "it's your lucky day" we got a convertible Audi A4!! I am all for American cars to support the economy, but I have not an ounce of guilt for being a trader for a weekend. (Actually, Adam's the trader, I haven't touched the gas peddle.) Then at the SEMA* show yesterday, we were walking around the audio section and I was looking at the ipod* accessories and the guy was like... "you like those pink headphones? Take them; what kind of Ipod* do you have? Here, take this case too, oh, (to Adam) unless you like the pink headphones, take these black ones." He just GAVE them to us. Then we also found this really cool rope type gadget to polish the dull boat tower Adam made at work, that takes minutes to make the whole thing look brand new and shiny like a mirror, and the lady was like, "Oh, I'll give it to you for 5 bucks because the show is over in an hour" I was like.....Oh I want one, really bad, it's exactly what we need, but I will have to pass on your offer, and buy it online when I get home, because I have no cash on me, ( I really didn't I wasn't trying to get a freebie, I promise) and she just said.. "well then just take it!" Thanks! Gotta get going, we are heading out for the desert for the afternoon, I'll post pictures later.

Feeling Domestic
I have been feeling more domestic with the weather changing and the holidays just around the corner. Adam and I have been building fires in the fireplace and I have been cooking and cleaning the house more regularly. For those of you who know me, you know that's a big deal. I have had strange desires to bake. Yesterday I made Carmel apples, I had never made them before. I even cleaned the kitchen when I was done. They taste really good. My kitty loves the fire place. She likes to sleep right in front of it, so I put her bed there and she loved it.
