Grandma Annie is doing good.
Grandma Annie is doing great! I just called her and she answered the phone. She said no one had been by yet to visit with her today, but that they would be there shortly. I wish I could be there with her. I never got tired of sitting in her room the 4 days we were there. I heard she was walking with a walker with the help of the physical therapist, but when I told her I heard she was walking she denied it. She said "no, I'm not walking... by myself." I guess if it isn't on her own, she doesn't count it. She is sooo hard of hearing, I had to scream into the phone to talk to her. I could never call her from anywhere but home because people would be so annoyed by all the noise. I'm going down there to see her again next Friday. I will post more then.

I just called her too. Yes, you have to yell, but it was really good to talk to her. She was really sweet too. Her speech sounded slurred to me. I asked her if she got the flowers I sent, but she didn't know -- she said she can't reach the cards to tell who they're from. I hope someone reads them to her!
Such good news. Are you flying down for the weekend?
I'm so glad to hear that, it will be so nice to go and see her next weekend without the fear of her dying on us.
I can't believe she has made such huge improvements in such a short time.
That is great news! She is fortunate to have such caring grandchildren.
