Seward, Alaska

Seriously, our captain had hooks for hands. He was quite charming... as you can see in the picture where he is hugging Aunt Stella so kindly, and then trying to claw MY head off in the next.Yikes! Please don't kill me is all I could think. No seriously, he was a funny man! Good captain. Made the boat trip a little more edgy. Grandma Lois didn't like the ride so much, her and Leah kept eachother company.
Cutest Otter ever!
Kept rolling over and around. It was adorable.
ugly fish
Glacier, we came very close, and I was not all that terrible cold, and it was drissling and overcast. How does it not all melt away?

You are going to have to make a photo album of your trip, the pictures are so pretty.
Glad you guys are having fun, when is the wedding? Seems like you've been there for a long time.

It's gorgeous!

And, I think it's time Adam got you a bigger telephoto lens for your camera. I want to see more close-ups!

How fantastic! You really got to see a lot. Love the otter. I'd love to see all that wildlife in person and not in an aquarium in Mystic, CT.

I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise.

You all sure are enjoying your once-in-a-lifetime trip to Alaska.

You need to make a scrapbook of your trip for each member of the group. Your MIL is a good scrapper.

I like the picture of the whale's tail! Wish you had gotten a picture of it when you could see more of him! lol
Glad you guys are coming back! Walter really misses you!

Rach: I probably got the best pics. That IS with a larger lens. Not the standard lens that comes with the camera!
Francie: real nice...

Your pictures make me want to take the family to AK. Still on the look out for that Moose? :)

no moose. We saw the two from a distance across the lake, but I got so excited that I was like "MOOSE, MOOSE, LOOK" and the sound traveled across the lake and they walked off before we could get close. So sad. Does your summer fisherman have no arms? Our capt' didn't. Also ElleJ, we got lucky with the weather, if it was as dreary as it is today, I wouldn't want to be here. But with the sun shining, its so beautiful! However, the upper peninsula of Michigan has just about as much to offer as this place does only way cheaper anda tiny bit more predictable, just not as enviable to talk about.
