U.P. Snowmobiling
Last Wednesday we got out of work early and headed north to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. For those of you who haven't been there, you're really missing out. Michigan takes first place for every category of snowmobiling except luxury resorts. Which doesn't surprise me; the U.P. wasn't designed to cater to the pampered. There are over 6000 miles of groomed trails in MI. This is the second trip up north this year; the first was with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their two girls. (I didn't pull my camera out once and I'm regretting that). This time my brother and his two boys drove from up-state NY. I wasn't going to blog about it, (because I'm lazy) because I didn't really get good pictures, but my sister insisted that I post the ones I took, so here they are.

Really beautiful pictures.
How long a drive is it to where you went in the UP from your part of MI?
I bet you all had a great weekend. Did you rent a house for the big group?
One of these days, I really want to get up there. But, you know me, I hate to be cold. And...kind of like to be pampered. lol. But the pics of the lake are really gorgeous.
Maybe we'll visit the U.P. in summer. Not very authentic though, eh?
Thank you for posting thses pics. Looks like fun. Wish I had been able to go.
You live in a beautiful area. Amazing to see different parts of our country ~ forget how drastic in landscape our country can get. Looks like fun.
Glad you had a good time together. I talked to Matt on Sunday and he said he had a lot of fun.
Glad you guys had fun, great pictures.
How pretty! Those are some serious snowmobiles! Hmm... The MI version of a troika ride! Oh--the baby's room is really looking cute, too! Thanks for your comment; you can only imagine how often I have to hold my tongue... It gets easier with practice. I also realized that no one was really going to see my point of view, anyway, so there's no point in even trying to speak my mind most times... What did you mean, though, about grammar? I sure hope I never did something to make you feel critiqued!
