Remember when I said I had a secret liking for little boxes? Check out what I scored at work! I was walking around the shop floor picking up root cause forms when I stumbled upon someone unpacking pressure testing fittings from a bunch of little brown and white boxes. I asked him if I could have a couple, and then told him how I liked little boxes because they are perfect for mailing little items from my etsy store. I gave him about a half hour to finish unpacking them, and when I went back, he had saved ALL of them for me! I was pretty excited; I had to make him promise not to tell Adam about them or he might throw them away. He asked "how much stuff do you sell anyways?" I was like... "not that much, but some." I've only sold 4 or 5 items, but I didn't want him to laugh at me for wanting so many boxes when I clearly didn't really need them. I will use them at Christmas time; I'm planning on making lots of ornaments for my store. They will fit perfectly if someone only wants to buy 2 or 3.
I have been really busy lately, making pottery stuff for my friend and for my sister. I think they turned out pretty good. Keep an eye out on Rachael's etsy store if you want to see the ones I made for her. But also keep watching mine, when I get back from my friends wedding in a week, I'm going to get busy making more stuff for my store.

When I was at the flower store the other day to pick something up, I was greeted by the cutest, friendliest, sleepiest cat named Stein. He was just sitting in a box on top of the counter where you pay for stuff. The funny thing is, I had Walter in the car because I was just coming from work; I had thought about bringing him in with me for a second. Good thing I didn't. I don't think I would have seen the kind side of Stein that I did.

Stein looks quite content. The vet where I went for years has a resident cat (big black cat) that was a stray. He sleeps on the counter or on the comuter monitor and could care less about all the crazy dogs. Good think you did not bring Walter in.
I also have a big stash of boxes. I have big boxes with folded boxes in them for gift giving but I tend to use gift bags now. I have tons of them too. I also save ones that I am given and reuse them as they are in perfect condition. You hit the motherload with all those little boxes as they are hard to come by.
Natalie, that is the cutest picture of Stein. I love how they have his name written on the box.
Looks like you really did find the mother lode with all of those boxes. I am sure they will come in handy.
How do you find time to work on your pottery after working all day?
You and your box collection. Thanks to you everytime I throw away a box I feel a little bit guilty that you would be mad if you knew I threw it out. But I don't see you often enough and I can't be hording boxes in my house just in case you want them.
Aw, another lucky animal that gets to go to work everyday.
Yes, jackpot on those boxes. You can share some with me, and tell the guy it's for charity, it that makes you feel better!
Hey there Nat the brat. lol I started a blog. Woohoo. I wrote you after your robbery. Love your pottery. So cute. Would love to order some things. Don't know how to though since I don't have a card.
I love your box collection. I have one too. Only it is cute decorative ones. = }
The cat is adorable. The life of animals. I think we should lay around all day and have them work and wait on us. Sound good any one? I know Cathy would agree. lol
God bless and happy day.
Stay cool. It's 104o today where I live. uugghh
Good to see you put another blog entry up. I was getting way ahead of you. Boxes are great but where are you putting them? Was the kitty at Steins flowers by Grandma Anns. That is her favorite place.
Yes you can post the wedding blog. I was looking for it because my mom said that you had asked her. I don't mind if you post pictures. I'm waiting....
