Well, this is not going to be a very interesting post, but everyone keeps asking how we are doing and if we are having a good time. We are having a great time, but we are all very sore. We were supposed to be up and out by 8, but that didn't happen. We didn't get to the mountain until about 11. The boys caught on pretty quick. They were flying down the hill by the end of the day. Madeline did pretty good too, but really only when I was hanging on to her ski's and scooting down the hill backwards with my hands on her ski's and her hands on my back... me, bending over and looking between my legs. We could go pretty fast like that. It was very exhausting, so we only did one run like that. Shannon spent the rest of the day with her on the bunny hill, so we will see tomorrow how well she picks it up. We are all soo tired and sore. I think we are planning to go to bed pretty soon here.
Walter is doing just fine. He is staying with our office manager. They get along pretty good. So he went to work with her the few days they had to go into the office and from the sounds of it, he has become fond of the new twins her daughter has there at the house. He likes to sleep in their doorway and keep track of them. The kitties are good too. They are running wild in the house. The neighbors are keeping an eye on them. I hope they manage to stay out of trouble. I'm surprised how much I miss them. I'm so used to having Walter with us all the time. He's always in the back seat since we take him to work every day. So every time we are in the truck, and I hear a noise, I turn around to see what Walter is doing or getting into, only to see a pile of luggage. And whenever we go into a store or a restaurant, I keep forgetting that I don't have to worry that we've left him out there for too long. It's like having a kid, that you are always worried you're going to forget about and leave in the car or something like that. I miss my boy.
Hope everyone else is having a good holiday vacation!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Enjoy your holiday break with family and I look forward to seeing photos of your adventure when you have time. :)
My holiday time off started at 4:40 when my laptop and I walked out the door at work. I have several hours of work to do and email in and that's it. I'll do it maybe tomorrow and have it behind me.
I'm sure you all are having a lot of fun together in the mountains skiing. I've many, many happy skiing memories. Even had a skiing honeymoon.
Enjoy your days there until you head to your Mom's for Christmas.
Have a wonderful Christmas with the family.
Glad Walter is doing OK back in MI. I bet you do miss him.
Have a safe drive to NY!
Sounds like you're going to be really sore for a while! I remember snowboarding when we were in academy in Canada and going on the top of the mountain and sliding all the way down on my butt! Ha-ha! I should've paid more attention! Have fun!
Looks like a great time for all. You make lovely snow bunnies. I know you will have a wonderful time with your parents. We miss you much. Kind of cloudy but warm. Leah loved Disney World, especially the parade. It was very tiring because it was so crowded. Sarah let us leave at about 6:00. Yahoo! See you in a week or so.
Glad you all are having fun, we should do it again next year so I can go.
Oh and speaking of twins... guess who's having twins? Becca!
Merry Christmas!
Looks like fun!
I'm waiting for some pics from Mom's house...hoping someone will post!
Your video ... can't believe you went all the way down like that for your niece. So sweet and so talented!!! :)
Natalie, you are the best, most patient and awesome auntie in the world! All the kids love you. Who else would even think of helping their niece down a hill like you did? Madeline will never forget her first trip to the slopes... Thats for sure. Thank you.
