I love it when I go into a business and there is either a cat or dog there to great me...makes the invironment more relaxing.
We had a bike shop here that had a dog named Milo, he would actually smile at you when you walked in, he looked like he was growling but he never got up from his relaxed position.

Those are some cute pictures. Adam looks especially handsome at his desk. I think you really did miss that dog. I miss him and my cats. Thanks for doing the check.
