Guess who's at the top of my BAD list?
WALTER is! He was terrible last night. I was so mad at him! We left him home alone for a couple of hours while we went to a movie. When we got home, we found throw-up in the entryway.... contents: foil wrappers, dark brown stuff, caramel and green apple pieces. Our luck didn't stop there. In the kitchen there was a plate upside down on the floor, stuck in place. Underneath it: caramel apple. He managed to eat THREE caramel apples, a giant king size bar of chocolate and a hand full of Hershey kisses. His eating place? The carpeted living room and my carpeted bedroom. Caramel and chocolate gooped to the carpet. It was bad! We went through a can of spot shot within 5 minutes. Adam had to run to the store, thankfully they were open on new years eve, and get more stain remover and a rug doctor at 10 pm. Have you ever had to clean caramel from carpet? Imagine it to be similar to hot wax on the carpet. Wait, it gets better... He felt compelled to top it off with a pile of poop in the corner of the dinning room. Oh, and more throw-up throughout the evening in random carpeted areas. So, lets hope this is not going to be out New Years Eve tradition! So, do you think he was rebelling, or just being a dog? I think he knew exactly what he was doing, because he doesn't do that kind of stuff when we are home, so I know he knows better. What a bad dog.

oh thats terrible! jorden's dog is a great dane so we have to hide all our food up high, but she'll still get it while we are gone. the other day, she ate an entire cake. she also will get into the trash if someone leaves it open and eat anything, including the plastic bags or foil around the food! so i think walter was just being naughty! hopefully thats not his new years resolution!
and i hope your carpet isn't too messed up!
I hear that chocolate can be toxic to dogs, maybe this is what it means ... sounds awful. I am so sorry that you had to spend your night fixing carpets.
Hopefully on the bright side you saw a good movie??

Um, my daughter never put us through that. Naughty Walter. No wonder he barfed and pooped with all that he ate. What a mess to clean up. Adam was so lucky to find the store open to rent the rug cleaner and equipment. I bet Walter had some hangover this morning from his New Year's Eve celebration!
I can't stop laughing. That's awful. Sounds like something my dog would do. Sorry you had to come home to that. :) Happy new years! Yay!

OMGoodness Natalie. I laughed so hard. Sorry. Well. Just think you would have things like that happening at a much higher scale if he was a kid. LOL I hope the movie was worth it. Maybe it's cuz he got wind of you bragging bout how good he has been that you let him out of his cage @ work. He just wants to be the center of your blog. LOL
