Today was my 31 week, 1 day doctors appointment. I have 9 weeks to go. I like my doctor; he's a big, chubby, old guy. I have a soft spot in my heart for old men. He's not grandpa-old, but I still like him. He said the boy is two centimeters larger than average. I asked him if that meant I was gaining too much weight or if he was a big baby; he said he's probably just a big baby. Unfortunately that doesn't mean he's coming early or even on-time. He said not to be surprised if I have an eight or nine pound baby and that I was tall enough to handle it. He said I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 7 or a 9 pound baby. I'm pretty sure 2 pounds makes a BIG difference! I knew he was getting big. He kicks and pushes and rolls around like a monster.
I'm really taking it easy with this pregnancy. I hoped I would exercise more and eat less but that's not the case. I eat more, exercise less and I'm very much in love with my comfy pants.

Well.. Don't worry to much because Big can be good. I've always heard the bigger babies sleep better. That seemed to be the case for me. Also if he plays hard, such as kicking, pushing, and rolling, he may sleep better. Pregnant or not.. I still love the comfy pants. lol
So can you "see" him kicking and rolling? We video taped my stomach when my girl was moving and it is such a trip to look back on that video ~ she thinks it's wild too.
i have put on like 6 pounds in a week. holy toledo! i am a little worried about this haha

Don't worry, the weight comes off easy the first time around, but the second time you better not go so easy on yourself, it's much harder to lose the weight.
Ryan and Lori both weighed 9lbs4oz when they were born and they weren't monsters. They were good babies.
Rachael weighed 8#11oz - Francie weighed 8# 4 oz - and they were both high maintenance babies!!!
You weighed 7#10 oz and Shannon weighed 7# 11 oz and you two were the best sleeping babies ever!
Nine pound babies are just good babies.
Eight pound babies are high maintenance.
Seven pound babies are good sleepers.
What?! I am high maintainence?!
Monster or not, he is going to be adorable like his mommy!
My daughter weighed 7 lbs. and was 5 weeks early. She was a fantastic sleeper and slept through the night at 2 weeks old (the night her grandma went back to CT).
Have a wonderful time with your mom and sisters this weekend! I wish I could have gone along.
I'll be in NH joining my daughter and the group she brought over from Moscow.
Just looked at the clock and realized that your mom, sister and niece must be at your house by now. Have a great time together and we want lots of pictures.
